How do you hook up your speakers if DVD movies have no sound?

Make sure your speakers are turned on and properly connected. Double-check all the connections between the speakers and your TV, DVD player, receiver, or computer to ensure that they are secure and snug. Ensure the power cables are plugged into an outlet and the volume is turned up.

Select the correct audio output setting on your DVD player or TV. Some DVD players may have multiple audio output options. Look for the option labeled "PCM," "Stereo," or "Analog."

If you're using a receiver, ensure it's set to the correct input. The receiver should be set to the "DVD" or "Aux" input if your DVD player is connected to it.

Update your sound drivers (for computers only). If your computer is playing DVD movies, outdated sound drivers may cause the sound to be missing. Check for updates from the manufacturer's website.

Try using different cables. Sometimes, the type of cable you use can affect audio output. If you're using RCA cables, switch to coaxial or optical cables.

Clean the connectors on the cables and device ports. Dirt or debris can accumulate over time and interfere with the sound connection. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean the connectors.

If none of the above solutions work, you may have to replace your speakers or DVD player.
