Open the Start menu and type "QuickTime Player". Click on the QuickTime Player application to open it.
Step 2: Set Up the Recording
Click on the "File" menu and select "New Screen Recording". A window will appear with options for recording your screen.
- Select the camera: If you have multiple cameras connected to your computer, select the one you want to use from the "Camera" dropdown menu.
- Select the microphone: If you want to record audio along with your video, select the microphone you want to use from the "Microphone" dropdown menu.
- Choose a recording location: By default, videos will be saved to your Pictures folder. You can change this by clicking the "Options" button and selecting a different location.
Step 3: Start Recording
Click on the red "Record" button to start recording. A countdown will begin before the recording starts.
Step 4: Stop Recording
When you are finished recording, click on the stop button in the menu bar. The recording will be saved to the location you specified.
