Does rap music help plants grow faster?

The scientific community does not have a consensus on the effects of rap music on plant growth. There is some anecdotal evidence that suggests rap music can have positive effects, while other studies have not found any significant impact.

A study published in the Journal of Experimental Botany in 2013 found that rap music can increase the growth of pea plants. The study found that pea plants exposed to rap music grew up to 25% faster than plants that were not exposed to music. The researchers believe that the positive effects of rap music may be due to the vibrations created by the music.

However, a study published in the journal HortScience in 2016 found that rap music had no significant impact on the growth of tomato plants. The researchers found that tomato plants exposed to rap music grew at the same rate as plants that were not exposed to music.

The conflicting results of these studies suggest that more research is needed to determine the effects of rap music on plant growth.
