Recorder Basics:
- The recorder has 7 holes: 6 in front and 1 in the back for your thumb.
- Hold the instrument with your right-hand thumb on the back and left-hand fingers on the holes.
- To produce a sound, blow gently across the recorder's mouthpiece, covering and uncovering finger holes to create different notes.
Note Fingering:
- C (no holes covered)
- D (cover the first hole)
- E (cover the second hole)
- F (cover the third hole)
- G (cover the fourth hole)
- A (cover the fifth hole)
- B (cover all six holes)
