Locate the audio/auxiliary output on the amplifier. Plug the same type of cord that is connecting the record player to the amplifier into the amp output to ensure that the voltage stays constant.
Plug the cord from the audio/auxiliary output of the amplifier into the audio/auxiliary input of your computer. This completes the circuit and connects the signals.
Check that all appropriate cords such as ground connections are connected from the turntable to the amplifier and from the amplifier to the computer. Open Windows Media Player and play a record through the player. The option to burn the music and download it to an audio library comes with your music program.
