How to Make Your Own Music Rap Beats

Creating your own music rap beats can be done by using music samples, also known as loops, or can be done by using professional music equipment. Equipment such as sequencers, converters and beat machines will enable you to create rap beats; however, if you're looking to create beats fast, use loops. You can compose music rap beats in music creation programs such as Pro Tools, Cubase or Cakewalk.

      Install music creation software or download a free program online.

      Open the program and use the supplied loops if software comes with them. Download free loops online if the program doesn't. Import selected loops by going to the "File" menu, then select "Import."

      Right-click the track listings on the left side of the screen and select "Add New Track."

      Select and drag loops to interface on track one. Highlight then right-click the loops to copy and paste another one next to it.

      Select and drag loops to interface on track one. Highlight then right-click the loops to copy and paste another one next to it.

      Repeat the above step for each additional instrument loop. Select the on-board mixer to mix the song to your liking.

      Press "Play" to hear the song, then save the song to your computer.
