How to Make a Backing Track

When creating music tracks there are two types of vocal tracks, foreground tracks and backing tracks. You must have music creation software such as Cakewalk, Sonar or Pro Tools to edit and add backing vocals to foreground vocals. Effects such as echo and reverb are often added to backing tracks to enhance the recording. Backing tracks not only bring life to a song, they control the tempo of the song.
