Plug in the AC power cable for your Korg D3200 and turn on the recorder by pressing the “ON” key from the top panel.
Press the “Song” key and then click on the “New” button. The New Song dialog box will then appear on the display screen. Click on the “OK” button.
Connect the audio sources that you want to record into the mixer inputs. For example, connect one end of a guitar cable to the guitar and the other end to the “Guitar in” port.
Press the “Rec/play Mode” key from the top panel and the use the radio button to select the “Normal” option from the display screen.
Press the “Send” key and then make sure that the channel you are recording your guitar part for is set to the “Pre” option.
Press the “Meter” key and the Track Type dialog box will appear. Select the “PreFader” and “TrackView” options using the radio button. Click on the “OK” button.
Press the “Rec” key and it will begin to blink. Press the “Play” key and the recording will begin. Play your instrument and the press the “Stop” key to end your recording.
Press the “Rec/Play” key and then hold down the “Stop” key. Press the “Rew” key to go to the beginning of the track you recorded. Press the “Play” key and you’ll be able to hear your recorded track.
