How to Enable the Stereo Mix in a Sigma Tel Audio
Sigma Tel Audio is a sound card that comes standard in many Dell desktop computers and laptop computers. If you have a Sigma Tel Audio card, and want to compose music on your computer, you may have noticed that the sound card doesn't have stereo mixing enabled. The lack of this function seriously inhibits your ability to produce high quality tracks. Fortunately, there's an easy solution that will enable stereo mixing on the Sigma Tel Audio card, opening the possibilities for at-home recording.

Download the LG driver for Sigma Tel Audio (see Resources).

Extract the "setup.exe" file to your desktop using an unzip program.

Open the "Setup" file on your desktop by double-clicking the icon.

Follow the Install Wizard instructions to finish installing your LG driver. Restart your computer when prompted, and upon restart, your Sigma Tel Audio card will now have stereo mixing enabled.
