Presonus Fire Studio Project

PreSonus, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, manufactures recording equipment for amateurs and professionals. The FireStudio Project is one of many recording interfaces developed by the company.

    • The PreSonus FireStudio Project is a recording system used for professional studio recording, live recording, performances, podcasting and other sound recording applications. It can record several instruments at a time using its recording interface, from a single guitar amplifier to an entire band.

    Features

    • The PreSonus FireStudio Project boasts eight front panel inputs (six mic/line and two mic/instrument) each with Class A XMAX mic preamplifiers. It features individual channel trim controls, LED input metering, a zero-latency matrix router mixer and 24-bit/96k sample rate conversion.

    Bundles

    • PreSonus' FireStudio Project comes bundled with PreSonus Studio One Artist, a digital audio workstation that includes 4 GB of plug-ins and virtual instruments.

    Requirements

    • Windows user requirements include Windows 7, Vista or XP, an Intel Pentium 4 1.6 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 processor and 1 GB of RAM. Macintosh user requirements include Mac OS X 10.5.2 or later and a PowerPC G4 1.25 GHz or Intel Core Solo 1.5 GHz processor. All users require an IEEE 1394 FireWire 400 Port, DVD-ROM and at least 1 GB of RAM.
