How to Troubleshoot a PreSonus Inspire

The PreSonus Inspire is a digital recording device that connects to your computer via a 1394 FireWire interface and cable. The PreSonus inspire features two XLR microphone inputs equipped with 48v phantom power for certain microphones, as well as two Hi-Z inputs for instruments like keyboards, signals from direct boxes and other audio devices like turntables. The PreSonus was originally designed for the semi-professional market, and though some problems are easy to diagnose, major repairs should be left to a qualified professional.
