How to Bring Up a Song List on the Tascam DP-004 Recorder

With two audio inputs and expandable SD memory, the Tascam DP-004 recorder can hold a ton of songs. It can keep so many songs that it can be hard to keep up with all of them. The DP-004 does have an efficient way to display a list of all the songs it contains as long as there is a SD memory card in the machine.

Instructions

    • 1

      Press and hold the device's "Power" button until "Tascam" appears on its display.

      Press the DP-004's "Menu" button to bring up the menu on the recorder's display.

      Turn the DP-004's "Data" wheel to select the "Song" option from the menu. Press the "F4" button to confirm the selection.

      Select the "Load" option from the "Song" menu. Use the "Data" wheel to make your selection and the "F4" button to confirm. The "Song Load" menu will appear.

      Use the "Data" wheel to navigate through the list of songs. Press "F2" button to play the selected song, or press the "F1" button twice to return to the main menu.
