How to Use ADAT with 003

Alesis Digital Audio Tape (ADAT) is a tape-based recording format that allows users to simultaneously record up to eight channels of audio. Modern recording technology has moved away from physical tape in favor of digital storage, but most digital audio interfaces include ports that allow users to connect ADAT units to digital audio workstations (DAWs). The Digidesign 003 Factory is a digital audio interface that features ADAT connectivity. Digidesign hardware is optimized for their Pro Tools professional DAW software.
