How to Convert GIG Samples to an Akai S1000

The Gigasampler sampling engine used a proprietary format for files with an extension of ".gig" and was a useful format for very large samples. If you have some GIG samples and you also have an Akai S1000 sampler, you may wonder if you can convert the samples to the Akai format. There is only one program that can make the conversion between GIG files and S1000 files, but the process is relatively simple. Since both programs offer demo versions, you can try them out to check the results before purchasing.
