How to Convert .lit to .prc

The e-book revolution has given rise to a variety of file types and a multitude of devices that can read specific files. The .LIT format is the Microsoft Reader file type whereas .PRC files are meant for Amazon.com's Kindle devices. If you already have a particular book in .LIT format but own a Kindle, you most likely want to be able to use that file on your Kindle. In order to do that, you must convert the .LIT file to a .PRC file.
