Press the “Shift” key plus the “Utility” key (also labeled keypad “13”) to enter Utility Mode.
Continuously hit the left or right arrow key until “Out Part” appears in the display. This is the Output Part setting.
Set the Value to “All,” using the value dial. If the Value setting is set to “Drum,” the bass part is muted. If it is set to “Bass,” the drum part is muted.
Press the “Shift” and “Utility” keys.
Continuously hit the left or right arrow key until the “CLK / U/L” setting appears in the display. This is the Click Level setting.
Set the Value greater than “0” using the value dial. If the click level value is set at “0” the metronome volume is turned all the way down.
Press the “Shift” key plus the “MIDI” key (also labeled keypad “14”) to enter MIDI mode.
Continuously hit the left or right arrow key until the Parameter is set to “Sync.”
Set the Value to “Auto.” If the value is set to “MIDI,” the DR-607 operates as the slave MIDI device and can only be started based on the input of the external master MIDI device.
Press the “Shift” key plus the “Drum Kit Edit” key (also labeled keypad “9”) to enter Drum Kit Edit Mode.
Push the “Bass” key if you cannot hear the bass sound. Or push the “Drum A/B” key, select the appropriate drum bank and press the specific key that is muted if you cannot hear a drum sound.
Continuously hit the left or right arrow key until the Parameter is set to “V/L” for volume level.
Set the Value greater than “0” using the value dial.
