What is a good wattage for trainer amps?

Trainer amps typically range in wattage from 10 to 40 watts.

- 10-15 Watts: These amps are ideal for practice in small spaces, such as a bedroom or apartment, or for jamming with friends. They can produce enough volume for most purposes, but they are not loud enough for large venues or outdoor gigs.

- 20-30 Watts: These amps are louder than 10-15 watt amps, and offer a better balance of volume and tone. They are suitable for practicing, rehearsing with a band, or playing in small clubs or coffee shops.

- 40 Watts: These amps are the most powerful of the three options, and are suitable for playing in larger venues or outdoors. They offer more headroom and can handle higher levels of distortion without breaking up.
