How do you remove the radio in a 1999 dodge Dakota?

1. Turn off the engine and disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical damage from occurring while you are working on the radio.

2. Remove the bezel around the radio using a trim removal tool. Be careful not to damage the dash.

3. Once the bezel is removed, you will see four screws holding the radio in place. Remove these screws.

4. Pull the radio out of the dash by gently rocking it back and forth. Disconnect the antenna and power connectors from the back of the radio. There are tabs you'll need to slide in order to remove the harness

5. Install the new radio. Connect the antenna and power connectors to the back of the radio. Slide the radio back into the dash and secure it with the four screws.

6. Replace the bezel and reconnect the battery. Turn on the engine and test the radio to make sure it is working properly.
