    • Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester was named the "hottest school for music" in the United States by the Kaplan/Newsweek "How to Get into College Guide for 2008." Eastman and Julliard often duke it out in various categories for musical excellence. Besides the many degrees, Eastman also has a Ph.D. program in music philosophy and musical arts.

    • Belmont College is a private university in Nashville, Tennessee. Belmont is known for its incredible Music Business Program. Faculty includes former executives and artists. Belmont also boasts the Belmont Studios, used by Sheryl Crow, among others, and RCA Studio B, where Elvis recorded as well.
