Determine how many CDs you need to seal. Save money by purchasing the seals in bulk. A 500-pack of seals could cost as low as 20 cents per seal or $24.99 per pack, and a 200-pack could cost 16 cents per seal or $11.99 per pack.
Open the self-adhesive sleeve by folding down the flap. Self-adhesive clear plastic sleeves are available online and from large retailers such as Target and Walgreens. There is only one size, which is the standard 5-inch by 5-inch sleeve, so sizing is not a problem.
Insert the CD into the sleeve. If the CD has a label, face the label toward the "front" of the sleeve, which is the side with the flap.
Press down the adhesive tape on the flap to seal the CD. In many cases, the adhesive tape is not permanent, so you can reseal the CD as frequently as you like.
Store the CD horizontally on a shelf or other location away from extreme heat and humidity.
