There are many software programs available to buy or download for free over the Internet that enable you to create, and print, CD liner notes with ease. Providing you have a computer with access to the Internet and a printer, this really is a straightforward, easy task that almost anyone can do. The advantage to printing your own CD liner note is you can make your burned and copied CDs look more professional.

      Type "CD liner notes" into your search engine; a number of different sites that offer free software downloads should appear. Choose one and click on its link.

      Find the software download for creating CD covers, or liner notes, and click on the link to begin downloading it. Install the software to your computer and start running it.

      Go to the "Template" options in your chosen software program. Check the box next to the "CD Double" template so that you have space to include liner notes. Click "OK" or "Done."

      Type in the CD title and band name, etc. in the boxes provided underneath the titles such as "Specify Title 1." Write your liner notes in the boxes provided beneath the heading "Specify Contents."

      Click on the "Add Image" option and upload an image to appear on the CD cover if you wish.

      Click on the "Print" tab when you have finished designing your CD inlay. After making the printout, cut or fold along the lines that denote the edges of your inlay and insert into your chosen CD case.
