Infinity Kappa Components

Infinity Systems is a division of Harman International Industries, Incorporated. Once known as Harman Kardon, the company has a long history of creating audio items. In the 1950s, Sidney Harman and his partner, Bernard Kardon, put the first stereo receiver on the market by combining multiple components. Today, the Infinity Kappa series responds to the car audio needs of CD and MP3 users with products that support detail and accuracy at high volume levels.
  1. Kappa One Amplifier

    • A Kappa One amplifier is compact. Its dimensions are 13 inches long, 7 inches wide and less than 2 inches high. This Kappa component is engineered to deliver dynamic bass optimization in response to your subwoofer. It is equipped with a variable subsonic filter and automatic thermal protection circuits. Infinity Systems says the amplifier protects sealed box woofers from over-excursion.

    Kappa 100.9W Subwoofer

    • Kappa 100.9W is a high-performance, low-distortion subwoofer. Unlike conventional subwoofers that have two independent sets of terminals, this subwoofer has a two-position switch that simplifies the wiring process. The woofer component reduces sound distortion with a vented polepiece and glass-fiber cone.

    Kappa 10.9T Tweeter

    • Kappa 10.9T tweeters have a mounting depth of less than an inch, with domes that resemble those found in home audio loudspeakers. Infinity Systems says the car audio tweeter functions properly with 18-gauge to 22-gauge factory-installed speaker wires. Four ohm sound is ensured by an adjustment that compensates for voice coil heating during use of this car audio component. The tweeter's larger voice coil supports improved mid-woofer sonic integration.
