How to Make Free CD Case Labels Online

CD case labels describe the musical artists and songs on a particular CD. If you create your own CD's or lose your CD case label, you may create your own labels using the online generator, Paper CD Case. This online service, allows you to input the track names and artist and export the CD case as a PDF file for printing. To use this service, you will need to know the tracks and artists featured on the CD.

Instructions

    • 1

Point your web browser to a search engine and type in the name of the album, for which you are designing the cover.

    • 2

Browse the search results for a listing that provides the track names in order.

    • 3

Hold down "Command" and "T" to open a new browser tab and direct your browser to the Paper Cd Case website. If your browser does not support tabbed browsing, hold down "Command" and "N" to open a new window.

    • 4

Using the CD track listing as a reference, enter the track names in order into the fields labeled "Tracks" on the Paper CD Case website.

    • 5

Enter the artist name in the field labeled "Artist" and the title of the album in the field labeled "Title."

    • 6

Select "Paper" under "Type", as this will simply be used as a label, not the entire case itself.

    • 7

Select "Letter" next to "Size," if you are using letter-sized paper. If not, select "A4," which is slightly longer than letter-sized paper.

    • 8

      Select "Western" as the font.

    • 9

Click "Create CD Case," which will generate a PDF file that you can print and fold into a CD case or insert into your CD jewel case as a label.
