Who is Basso Pinza?
Ezio Pinza (/ˈpɪntsə/; May 18, 1892 – May 9, 1957) was an Italian operatic bass. With a vast, cavernous sound combined with exceptional agility and a formidable technique, he became the pre-eminent basso cantante of his day as well as "a singer so universally admired across continents and decades that opera itself seemed enhanced or better represented to some listeners."
