How did Military Symphony earn its nickname?

There is no such symphony as "Military Symphony". If you're referring to the Symphony No. 5 by Ludwig van Beethoven, its nickname is "Fate Symphony" because of the opening four notes, which are interpreted as the knocking on the door of fate.
