How many pianos did beethoven own?

Ludwig van Beethoven never actually owned a piano, although at one point he did own stocks in the piano-manufacturing company Streicher. As a child, Beethoven was too poor to afford a piano and the ones that were available were so large that they would have been unsuitable for a young boy. It wasn't until he became a famous musician that he was able to afford to rent pianos and play them regularly.
