Is a 1 v 1V V chord progression allowed in traditional classical progressions?

In traditional classical music, a 1-V-IV progression would not be considered typical or common.

In standard classical harmony, the most frequent progressions are I-IV-I, I-V-I, and V-I with passing 6-4 chords. Classical style, as a rule, avoids leaps of the 7th and 2nd, and a perfect cadence with the motion from V to I is used to end sections of phrases.
