How did Alvarez guitars get their name?

Alvarez guitars are named after their founder, C.F. "Alfredo" Alvarez. Alvarez was a Spanish luthier who immigrated to the United States in the early 1900s. He started making guitars in a small shop in Los Angeles, California. In 1922, he founded the C.F. Alvarez Company.

Alvarez guitars quickly became known for their high quality and craftsmanship. The company produced a wide variety of guitars, including acoustic, electric, and classical models. Alvarez guitars have been used by some of the world's most famous musicians, including The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Eric Clapton.

The C.F. Alvarez Company is still family-owned and operated today. The company is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. Alvarez guitars are sold in over 100 countries around the world.
