What are the staff names in music?

In music, the staff is a set of five horizontal lines and four spaces that musical notes are placed on. Each line and space represents a different pitch, and the notes are arranged from low to high. The staff also has a vertical line called the bar line, which separates measures of music.

The names of the lines, from bottom to top, are:

* Bottom line

* Third line

* Middle line

* Second line

* Top line

The names of the spaces, from bottom to top, are:

* Bottom space

* First space

* Second space

* Third space

The notes that are placed on the lines and spaces are named after the letters of the alphabet, from A to G. The notes can also be modified by sharps (#) and flats (b), which raise or lower the pitch by a half step.

Here is a diagram of a staff with the lines and spaces labeled:

The staff is a fundamental tool in music notation and is used to write music for all instruments and voices.
