You will need:
* A cardboard box
* A utility knife or box cutter
* A pencil or pen
* A ruler
* Scissors
* Glue
* Paint (optional)
Step 2: Prepare the cardboard box.
Cut the bottom off of the cardboard box. Then, cut the sides of the box in half, so that you have two pieces of cardboard that are each about 12 inches by 18 inches.
Step 3: Draw the outline of the violin.
Use the pencil or pen and ruler to draw the outline of the violin on one of the pieces of cardboard. The violin should be about 12 inches long and 6 inches wide at the widest point.
Step 4: Cut out the violin.
Use the utility knife or box cutter to cut out the violin along the lines you drew in Step 3. Be careful not to cut yourself!
Step 5: Fold the violin.
Fold the violin in half lengthwise. Then, fold the two sides of the violin in towards the center, so that you have a three-dimensional violin shape.
Step 6: Glue the violin together.
Use the glue to glue the sides of the violin together. Be sure to apply the glue evenly, and let it dry completely before moving on to the next step.
Step 7: Paint the violin (optional).
If you want, you can paint the violin any color you like. Let the paint dry completely before playing your violin.
Step 8: Enjoy your new violin!
Now you can play your own cardboard violin! Be sure to practice regularly so that you can become a master violinist.
