Who invented loudspeakers?

Oliver Lodge:

- British physicist credited as the first person to invent the loudspeaker. He designed and built a primitive version of the loudspeaker in 1898 as a demonstration device for his wireless telegraphy experiments.

Ernst Ruhmer:

- German engineer and inventor who developed a practical and efficient moving-coil loudspeaker in 1925. Ruhmer's design became the basis for most modern loudspeakers.
