Blues Music Festivals in Indiana

During the great migration of the 20th century, many blues musicians headed north to seek work; some ended up in Indiana. Gennett Records, based in Richmond, Indiana, released blues recordings by famous artists such as Charlie Patton, Blind Lemon Jefferson and Big Bill Broonzy. Indiana's blues history makes it a popular place to hold blues music festivals. Indiana's blues music festivals offer blues, barbecue, camping, food and drink for thousands of festival goers.
