Fort Worth was and still is a breeding ground for great jazz music that has a local flair. Because so many musicians live and work here, it only makes sense to preserve their music and give them a great place to play every year. Jazz by the Boulevard is a two-day annual event. According to Fort Worth Jazz, the festival features national, regional and local jazz, pop, gospel and R&B music. If you attend this festival and still haven't had enough, check out the Fort Worth library; in order to better maintain the archives of jazz music history, the festival helped to create a collection of Fort Worth jazz archives.
