How did Andrew Lloyd Webber get into composing?

Andrew Lloyd Webber's passion for music began at a young age. Born into a musical family (his father was a composer, and his mother was a pianist), he showed early talent in playing the piano. He started composing at the age of 6 and took formal music lessons throughout his childhood. During his teenage years, he developed an interest in musical theatre and began writing his first musicals. He studied music at Oxford University, where he wrote his first professional musical, "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". The success of this musical led to a string of successful musical productions, including "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Evita", and "The Phantom of the Opera", solidifying his reputation as one of the most celebrated and influential composers in musical theatre history.
