How many white people were at the march on Washington?

The 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom is estimated to have been attended by more than 200,000 people. Of those, the vast majority were African American. It's difficult to say exactly how many white people were present, but some estimates put the number at as many as 25,000.
