Ask the facility's manager or the staff if you can camp out on the property and where you are allowed and not allowed to go. You will want to establish all of the rules beforehand, including rules regarding alcohol, tobacco, radios, fires and cooking.
Check the tent before setting up at the concert. Be sure it will withstand wind, rain and cold. Camping out the night before a concert can be exciting, but not so great the next morning if you wake up cold and wet.
Bring along sleeping bags, blankets if desired, pillows, food, water and your beverage of choice. Pack foods that are simple, easy to prepare and eat. A battery operated radio would be nice to have while camping out as well.
Consider the people around you. There may be others who are camping outdoors for the concert. Respect their privacy, be considerate and friendly. There is no need to become wild and out of control, which can lead to problems for you from the facility's management and staff.
Camp at the concert with a friend or family member. It is a good idea to leave one person at the camp site area if the other one needs to leave. Keep an eye out on your belongings and make sure your area is clean, safe and well managed.
