How to Use a Loop Pedal for Smooth Transition

A loop pedal is an effects unit that can record the signal of an instrument and play it back while the instrument is not being played. It is typically used as an effects pedal for electric guitar, but can be used with any instrument that transmits its signal via a 1/4-inch instrument cable. You can record a piece of music into a loop pedal and use it as a transition between songs in either a live or studio setting.
