The Saddle Rack is a 21-and-over venue located in Fremont, California. It was opened in 1976 by country music enthusiast Hank Guenther. The cover charge is light during the week and more expensive on weekends. Live country music bands and a DJ are featured. Traditional country music dancing is done on Thursday nights. It is usually closed to the public Sunday through Tuesday but open for special events. Check the calendar on the website. Guests also must adhere to the dress code.

Kodiak Jack's is a restaurant and live music venue. It has been entertaining the people of downtown Petaluma since 1994. Some of the favorites from the menu include the pasta primavera and the southwestern burger. Beer and wine are also served. There is live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Country line stepping and free stepping for the independent minded are also available. Brave guests can also participate in karaoke every Thursday and Saturday.

Cowboy Country includes 15,000 square feet and is equipped with a pool room, dance hall and two bars. It opened in 1999 and has become the largest of its kind in the Los Angeles area. At least one live band plays every night and there are drink specials every Friday. For novices, there are free dance lessons every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 7 to 8 p.m.
