1. Locate the antenna port: Open the trunk of your Corolla. The antenna port is usually located on the right side of the trunk, behind a small plastic cover.
2. Remove the plastic cover: Use a screwdriver or your fingernail to pry off the plastic cover. Be careful not to damage the cover or the wires behind it.
3. Connect the antenna cable: Insert the detached antenna cable into the port. Make sure the cable is firmly seated in the port.
4. Replace the plastic cover: Put the plastic cover back in place and press it down until it snaps into place.
5. Turn on the radio: Turn on the radio and check if the AM signal is working. If the signal is clear, you have successfully plugged in the antenna cable.
If you still don't have an AM signal after plugging in the antenna cable, there may be a problem with the antenna itself or the wiring. You may need to have your car inspected by a qualified technician.
