Go to Mp3mer.com, a free ring tone maker that's easy to use. Along with MP3 files, it also supports WMA and OGG files. The site has "Easy," "Advanced" and "Expert" modes. You'll be able to control options like bass, echo and chorus in "Advanced" and "Expert" modes.
Click the "Upload" button in the middle of the screen. Your song will be displayed on a sound-wave graph once it is fully uploaded.
Play through your song and select the part you would like to convert to a ring tone. There are two markers on the graph that you can drag. One marker indicates the starting point of your ring tone; the other marks the end point.
Press the "Play Selected" button to listen to your potential ring tone. Make sure it's exactly what you want. If it isn't, tweak it and position the markers where you want them. Once you're satisfied with your ring tone, you can put it onto your phone.
Click on the "Download" drop-down menu and choose "To Cellphone."
Click on the "Make a Ring tone" button. A box will pop up saying that your ring tone was successfully processed. There will also be a link for you to follow.
Open the Internet browser on your cell phone and type in the link that was provided. By following the link, you can download the ring tone to your LG Incite.
