  Open your Internet browser (for example, Internet Explorer or Firefox).

  Go to http://www.mp3towav.net/download.htm. Under the tab "MP3 Converter Simple," select download site 1. Select "save" to download the software.

  Select "evaluate 30 free files" once you have downloaded and installed the program. Once you have exceed the 30-file limit, you will have to purchase the software. As of October 2009, the purchase price is $14.95.

  Select "WAV" in the option menu. Find and select the files you want to convert to MP3. Then select "Next."

  Select "MP3." By selecting MP3 you are telling the program to convert your Wave files to a smaller MP3 file.

  Select output audio settings. It is usually best to retain the standard settings. However, if you want to improve the quality of the music, you can adjust the settings.

  Select other output settings. The correct options should already be selected. If not, make sure "select prompt to overwrite or skip" and "launch file explorer when conversion is finished" is selected.

  Select convert. Once completed, you have successfully converted a Wave file to MP3.
