How to Find iTunes Song Information

Information on songs stored in your iTunes music library is accessible for viewing and editing in a separate window. Song information automatically populates when you add store-bought CDs and iTunes-bought digital files to your iTunes music library. When you add songs to your music library from a homemade CD, song data may not populate automatically, in which case you can enter it manually. Song information available through your music library includes digital information, such as file size, date added, bit rate and file location, and music data, including album title, track number, genre and year of release. This information is accessible for both PC and Mac users.
