Connect your M-Audio DJ interface to your computer. M-Audio DJ interfaces come in several varieties. There's the Xponent, which is a fully featured interface that is designed to emulated two turntables and mixer. There's Connectiv, which is simply an interface that allows you to use your own vinyl turntables and mixer with timecoded vinyl records to control the digital tracks. Finally, there's the X-Session Pro, which is a mixer that allows you to use your own turntables with time-coded vinyl records, or on its own to mix, forfeiting the scratching options.
Launch the Torq software and turn on the power to your M-Audio DJ interface.
Load one deck with a track from your music library. Torq allows you to import your music library from another directory on your computer. Once Torq has access to your music library, you can simply search for a track and drag and drop it onto one of the decks on the top half of the user interface.
Load the second deck with a different song. With both songs playing, you're free to explore the features that Torq has to offer, such as beat matching, EQ, effects and looping.
