Go to the V CAST music manager homepage in your Internet browser. (See Resources below for V CAST site link.)
Scroll down to the "How it Works" section on the V CAST music manager homepage. Click the link displayed under step one to download and install the V CAST software driver for your computer.
Run the V CAST software driver's executable file to conduct the installation and store the V CAST driver to your computer.
Go to the V CAST Music with Rhapsody software download page in your Internet browser. Click the "Get Rhapsody Software" link on the left side of the Rhapsody homepage.
Download and install Rhapsody to your computer. (Rhapsody is a digital media player application that works with V CAST for music downloading and syncing purposes.)
Click the "Rhapsody with V CAST" desktop icon that will now be installed and displayed on your computer's home screen.
Plug the Verizon mobile phone's USB sync cable into the phone's A/C adapter and into an available USB inlet port on your computer. The Verizon phone icon will be displayed in the left corner of Rhapsody, once the phone's connection is detected. (See Warnings if you do not have a USB sync cable for your Verizon phone.)
Use Rhapsody to access the V CAST music store. Browse the V CAST music catalog, and find the music files you want to purchase. Click the music's link, and select the "Buy" option.
Confirm the purchase option, and download the music file from the V CAST music catalog. The music will then be stored to the media library in the Rhapsody digital media player.
Click the phone's "Sync" action. Drag the music file from the Rhapsody media library to the Verizon phone icon on the left side of the Rhapsody screen. The music will then be transferred to the Verizon phone's internal memory.
