How to Load a Sound Font
Sound fonts are instrument sound samples used in Midi or other synthesized music applications. By changing the sound font in a music sample, you can change the way the piece sounds. For instance, the use of a sound font allows you to convert a piano piece to one in which a saxophone is the primary instrument (or any other instrument for which a sound font is available). The process used to load sound fonts varies slightly depending on the Midi or sound application you are using. Nevertheless, the process is very similar across most applications.
