How Do I Remove the High Pitched Hum Coming From a Triton Keyboard?

The Korg Triton keyboard plugs directly into your computer, allowing you to record songs and create MIDI files. You can also play on the Triton keyboard as you would an ordinary keyboard, without plugging the keyboard into a computer. If you experience a high-pitched humming noise coming from your keyboard, you can troubleshoot the issue to stop the sound.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn off your Triton keyboard and unplug it from the computer or the electrical socket. Wait about 30 seconds, then plug the keyboard in to either to your computer or the wall outlet. Turn on the keyboard.

    • 2

Play the Triton using headphones to hear the notes and songs; insert the headphones into the keyboard using the jack, which has a headphones symbol above it. Plugging in the headphones can eliminate the humming noise.

    • 3

Sit at least four feet away from other electronic devices when playing the keyboard, to avoid interference.
