How to Set Up Virtual DJ With an External Sound Card
Virtual DJ is an audio program that can be used to create professional DJ mixes on a computer as well as slice, combine, and apply effects to songs and samples. Virtual DJ is capable of supporting external hardware such as external sound cards. This aspect of the program allows users to select what type of setup they want to use with the program. To use an external sound card with Virtual DJ, the proper settings must be used in the program.

Connect the external sound card to the computer. Any required drivers will be installed automatically.

Open Virtual DJ and click on the "Config" button at the top of the screen. Select "Sound Setup" from the menu.

Select the desired sound card to be used in the drop-down menu. Outputs may also be changed if necessary for the sound card.
