How to Get a Talkbox Effect

The talkbox effect was made famous by Peter Frampton on his "Frampton" and "Frampton Comes Alive" albums released in the 1970s. The effect has since been used by a number of renowned artists including Steppenwolf, Stevie Wonder, Metallica, Elton John, Bon Jovi and Motley Crue. The talkbox effect has been digitized with virtual studio technology (VST) plugins that can be used in a wide range of music production software.
