1. Enable file transfers on: your tablet using the instructions provided earlier in this guide.
2. Connect the tablet to your computer using the USB cable that came with it.
3. Transfer files to the tablet by dragging and dropping them from your computer into the `device` window in your file manager.
* Transfer music files to the `Music` folder.
* Transfer video files to the `Movies` folder.
4. Eject the tablet from your computer when finished transferring the files.
To transfer files to your tablet by attaching it as an external drive to your computer:
1. Connect the tablet to your computer using the USB cable that came with it.
2. On the tablet, you'll see a `connected as a media device` notification in the notification shade. Tap this notification and then tap `Transfer Files`.
3. On the computer, the tablet will appear as an external drive in the file manager you use. Depending on your computer and operating system, this might open automatically.
4. Transfer files to the tablet by dragging and dropping them into the external drive window in your file manager.
* Transfer music files to the `Music` folder.
* Transfer video files to the `Movies` folder.
5. Eject the tablet from your computer when finished transferring the files.
