Homemade Kazoku Instrumental

Home Made Kazoku is a three-person Japanese group that performs music in the hip-hop genre. The group released its first album in 2004. Kazoku means "family" in Japanese. The group's name translates into English as "Home Made Family."

    • Home Made Kazoku consists of three male performers. They are named Micro, Kuro and DJ U-Ichi. Micro and Kuro are the singers in the group; DJ U-Ichi handles the DJ duties. The group members cite Michael Jackson, Lenny Kravitz and Jay-Z as pertinent musical influences.

    Band history

    • Micro and Kuro were originally in a band with several other members; the other members eventually departed. The duo met U-Ichi when he approached them to play at an event he was organizing. The group largely performs in Japan, but made its U.S. debut in 2010.

    Anime

    • Home Made Kazoku songs have been featured as theme music in a number of Japanese anime television series. "Thank You!!" -- the group's theme for the show "Bleach" -- helped raise public awareness of the group and became a large hit, according to J-Pop World. The popularity of anime in the United States has raised the group's American profile.
